Boccia Tournament 19th March 2017

We had a great time at the Plymouth Life Centre on 19th March at our first South West Boccia League competition!

It was so heartwarming to see such an amazing turn out for a sport which is so dear to us! The event was flawlessly organised by our Boccia Development Worker, Louise, and supported by so many of our fabulous volunteers. Well done everyone!

Watch out Plymouth - Boccia will be taking over soon!

The Winners:

Kernow B Special Olympics (Boys)

The Runners Up:

North Devon Special Olympics Team 3

Some excellent play was on show with the winners and runners up taking part

in the Special Olympics at Sheffield this August.

Our Teams, Barbican Buccaneers 1 & 2 and Drake’s Dynamos 1 & 2, were great

participants too with smiles and

laughter and showing great team spirit!

Boccia Development Project

Do you work at a school or work/live in a residential home? If so, would you like us to deliver Boccia sessions for you?
