Azione 1Gioventù per l'Europa:

Cittadinanza europea:- Sensibilizzare i giovani sul proprio essere cittadini europei- Coinvolgerli nel dibattito sulla costruzione e sul futuro dell'Unione Europea - Offrirgli opportunità di identificarsi con altri giovani provenienti da paesi diversi, sulla base di valori comuni e nonostante le proprie differenze culturali

Partecipazione dei giovani- Incoraggiare i giovani ad essere cittadini attivi- Incentivare la partecipazione dei giovani alla vita civile della propria comunità- Incentivare la partecipazione dei giovani al sistema della democrazia partecipativa- Fornire maggiore sostegno a varie forme di educazione alla partecipazione

Diversità culturale - Educare al rispetto per la diversità culturale, insieme alla lotta contro il razzismo e la xenofobia - Arricchire la formazione interculturale -Incoraggiare i giovani a sfidare con rispetto e sensibilità i punti di vista che perpetuano disuguaglianze e -discriminazioni.

Le priorità della sub-azione

• Sviluppare il dialogo tra giovani e autorità,• Coinvolgere giovani non membri di organizzazioni,• Identificare gli ostacoli che impediscono la partecipazione dei giovani ai processi decisionali e suggerire come contrastarli,• Promuovere l’organizzazione di nuove reti ed organizzazioni di giovani,• Valorizzare e disseminare i risultati del progetto e le buone prassi esaminate.

I giovani si “allenano” ad analizzare criticamente le questioni politiche o sociali, e a fare sentire la loro voce. I progetti consentono loro di sperimentare la possibilità di influenzare la realtà in cui vivono e rendere il mondo un posto migliore!

Le finalità del nostro progetto

1. Confrontarsi e crescere attorno ai principi imprescindibili delle democrazia partecipata,

2. Maturare una maggior consapevolezza dell’essere cittadino europeo,3. Rafforzare le competenze sociali (competenze comunicative, di mediazione,

relazionali, di inclusione, tolleranza, …),4. Valorizzare il proprio impegno civile e sociale, arricchendo la propria esperienza

di cittadinanza attiva delle buone prassi esaminate durante gli scambi,5. Elaborare una proposta da presentare ai decision maker locali, finalizzata ad

allargare il coinvolgimento giovanile, 6. Produrre uno spot sociale per promuovere la cittadinanza europea e parlare al

grande pubblico dei giovani.

Projects

1. la centralità delle istituzioni scolastiche e di quelle formative nell’insegnamento delle discipline e del lavoro di gruppo. Il gruppo come luogo in cui la persona può - e deve - offrire il proprio apporto;

2. vivere in una società nella quale il giovane può trovare lavoro è condizione che facilita la sua partecipazione alla vita pubblica. L'occupazione anche come dovere solidaristico del cittadino nei confronti della comunità, per la crescita del benessere comune;

3. l’importanza che le società che si dotino di un sistema normativo che sollecita e sostiene l’aggregazione e il protagonismo giovanile;

4. la promozione di un nuovo patto tra generazioni grazie al quale gli adulti mettono gratuitamente a disposizione dei giovani la loro esperienza, il loro tempo, le loro relazioni.

Action 1 Youth for Europe : OBJECTIVES

The Youth in Action Programme aims to achieve the following general objectives:• promote young people’s active citizenship in general and their European citizenship in particular;

• develop solidarity and promote tolerance among young people, in particular in order to foster social cohesion in the European Union; • foster mutual understanding between young people in different countries;

• contribute to developing the quality of support systems for youth activities

and the capabilities of civil society organisations in the youth field; • promote European cooperation in the yout field.

1.3. Youth Democracy Projects:

Youth Democracy Projects aim at boosting young people’s involvement in the democratic process at local, regional and European level.

The objective is •to provide young people with ideas about and experiences of democracy, •to spark new national and transnational networks and exchanges of good practice.

Youth Democracy Projects improve young people’s understanding of how democracy works, helping them to make the most of their right to participate in the decision-making structures of a democratic society.

Youth Democracy Projects should focus on such themes as European citizenship, active

participation, cultural diversity, social inclusion, end the future of Europe.

Projects

1. Focusing on the school system and the educational system in order to devolop a culture of decipline and team work. Team-work seen as an opportunity for a person to not only have to but also to bring in his or her personal contribution;

2. Living in a society where Youth can find job opportunities is a condition which allows them to have an active role in social life. For a mutual wellbeing, job should be seen as feeling duty bound to a solidarity commitment to the comunity;

3. Important is that society creates a normative system able to sollicite and support the aggregation among youths and their role as leading actor;

4. Promoting a new agreement between the adult generation and the young generation where adults offer the youths their experience, their time and their relationship at no cost.
