WOTFV's Active CommunitiesAction Team works to increasephysical activity by providingmore opportunities to be activein the community. Our goal is toincrease the number of peoplewalking and bicycling bysupporting implementation ofcomplete streets facilities (e.g.

bike lanes, sidewalks, safe crossings) in localcommunities within the tri-county region. Completestreets make it easier for all users to choose to walk orbike to work, for recreation, to the library, grocery store, clinic, or for any activities or events. We are alsoworking with East Central Wisconsin Regional PlanningCommission to develop a wayfinding signage programto provide bicyclists and pedestrians the opportunity tonavigate throughout the tri-county area easily andefficiently, and to promote active transportation andrecreation.

If you want more information or are interested inparticipating in the work listed above, please contactus.
