Nomination1) Your home university will receive instructions on the nomination process. You must be
nominated by your home university before you are able to submit an application.2) After nominations are submitted, students will receive an email with a link to proceed with
their application.
After nomination1) Students will receive an email with the information to start the application, which is also
available at studyinmexico.tec.mx > APPLY NOW. Students must apply with the same emailthat was used for their nomination.
2) As an admission requirement, students must upload a scan of their valid passport.3) The admission decision will be sent via email. Students can download their acceptance
letter from the website in which they sent their application.

► Class size averages 30 students.► Homework is assigned regularly.► Evaluation typically considers 2 partial and 1 final examinations ► Minimum passing grade of 70/100.
The amount of credits given by a course is defined by the amount of hours a student has tospend in the classroom weekly.

The migration process is defined by the nationality of the student.
! Non-restricted nationalities: Require an FMM (migratory form obtained upon entry to the country), but do not need a visa if the stay is for 180 days or less (semester or summer).

Everyone coming to Mexico for more than 180 days (a year or more), is required to have a visa.
Migration Process
Health InsuranceTecnológico de Monterrey requires all international students to have an internationalhealth insurance with specific coverages and amounts during their stay. SURA created a policythat covers and exceeds all our minimum requirements. Detailed information about theinsurance and online purchase is available at: https://intercambioseguro.com/en/#
► If students already have an insurance that covers all the requirements, they can use itby sending a proof of purchase and coverage.
► If students do not have an insurance that covers all the requirements, they mustpurchase one, either individually with their preferred company or in the SURA website.
