Install the Bath

1. Make sure that the bath is installed by a competentinstaller.

2. Before installation carefully inspectthe new fixture forany signs of damage.

G eneral

1. Install the cross bar onto the bottom of the bath byfeeding it through the bracket.

2. Make sure the cross bars are evenly spaced aboutthecentre ofthe bath and secure them inposition with thebolts.

4. Install the end of the steel bars onto the plastic parts.

5. Install the “V shape” onto the threaded bars.6. Manually Tighten the nuts until the “V shape” is in full contact with the underneath of the bathtub rim and tighten a further 1/2 turn with a spanner.7. Install and tighten the washers and nuts onto the threaded bars above the plastic parts.

. Installthe feetonto the cross bars and secure theminposition with the nuts.

10. If required, markthe positions of the holes forthe tapsand drill with a suitable tool.Note! The positions ofthe mounting holes forthe tapsdepend on the type ofbath thatyou are installing. Themounting holes can be at eitherend of the bath orona central ledge.

11. Fitthe taps and the waste onto the bath in accordancewith the manufacturer‘s instructions.Note! If the bath is to be installed with a side againsta walland the bath does nothave an integralupstand,we recommend the use ofa tiling-in bead. Referto theinstructions packed with the tiling-in bead.

Apply sealant in accordance with the manufacturer‘sinstructionsto sealthe bathto the surroundingstructure.Complete the finished wall surface (e.g. tiling) arondthe bath as required.Fillthe bath with waterand sealaround the bath edgewith silicone sealant. Allow the sealant to cure beforedraining the bath.

If necessary, install the bath panel. Refer to seperateinstructions.

8. Positionthe bath inthe desired locationand make surethat it is level. Adjust the feet on the bath to obtain aheight of 545 mm (+ 2 mm/-0 mm) between the floorand the rim of the bath.

9. With the bath in position and level, secure the feet tothe floor with suitable screws.

Do not use washing powders or any other substance containing abrasives, as these will scratch the glass.
