LAST WEEKEND'S JOKEA 4-year-old boy was asked to

give thanks to God before Christmasdinner. The family members bowedtheir heads in expectation. He began

his prayer, thanking God for all his friends andfamily members, naming them one by one. Thenhe began to thank God for the food. He gavethanks for the turkey, the dressing, the fruit salad,the cranberry sauce, the pies, the cakes, even thecool whip. Then he paused and everyone waitedand waited. After a long silence, he looked up athis mother and asked: "If I thank God for thebroccoli won't he know that I'm lying???"

KURNOOL DIOCESE MISSION APPEALThe Diocese of Kurnool,

India was created on 12th June1967, is a mission Dioceseevangelized by the FrenchJesuits, The Paris ForeignMissionaries, The Franciscansand the Mill Hill Missionaries.

Diocese has minimum infrastructure of health,education, and faith formation development. Its88,000 low income group Catholics spread in 330villages among powerful Hindu and Muslimreligious groups. The Diocese has 54 parishes,141 diocese & religious priests and 380 religioussisters.

Rev. Fr. James Kukatla will visit our parishthe weekend of July 21st & 22nd to make an appealfor the Diocese of Kurnool, India!

CONFESSIONSEvery weekend Confessions will

be heard from 3:15 to 3:30 P.M. onSaturday and 8:15 to 8:30 A.M. on Sun-day.
