Problem SolversTrench systems for special applications

ChemDrain

ChemDrain provides solutions for use in chemically aggressive environments. The interconnecting Vinyl ester polymer concrete channels come in sloped and neutral depths, and a choice of 3 edge rail options. A full range of grates and accessories complete the system. Grate and edge rail options affect maximum load ratings from Class C to Class F.

Brickslot

C

Brickslot is a discreet drainage solution for use with brick or stone pavers up to 2.5” (63mm) deep. The 0.44” (11mm) slot blends in with brick pavers to give an aesthetic solution.

Membrane Drain

C

For use in suspended slab where any liquid permeating through the pav isement collected and directed into the trench drain. Loading is determined by grate, up to Load Class C. Uses KlassikDrain grates.

SlabDrain

On occasion, installation constraints are of greater concern than hydraulics. The most common constraint is lack of depth. ACO offers SlabDrain in 3 edge rail options - all are neutral depth. Edge rail and grate affect maximum load rating of system from Class C to Class F.

MiniKlassik

C

A 2” (50mm) internal width system for high profile, aesthetic applications where a barrier is required to separate wet and dry areas. Choice of grate styles and materials. Loading determined by grate, up to Load Class C.

Cross Sidewalk Drain

E

Cross sidewalk systems are designed to carry discharge from rainwater down pipes safely and discreetly across the sidewalk to the curb. Type 6 and Roll curb profile are available. Loading determined by grate, up to Load Class E.

ACO SportTrack & field trench systems

ACO ROAD

To assist in the specification and installation of ACO trench drain systems we offer a design support service to assist in the design of the optimum trench drain layout to meet your performance and cost requirements.

The service includes assistance with product selection, hydraulic calculations, design layouts, parts schedules and installation advice.

Design Services check list:

1. Length of trench run2. Square footage of area to be drained3. Surrounding pavement/surface type, e.g., concrete, asphalt, etc.4. Rainfall intensity/expected flow5. Perpendicular slopes (%)6. Expected traffic - type & frequency (to assess load class)7. Any depth restrictions

The above information will assist our design team to provide you with the optimum design for your project.

ACO DESIGN SERVICES

ETraffikDrain

E

TraffikDrain is a 4” internal width trench drain with grates that offer large liquid intake slots, and a smooth internal polymer concrete cavity. These features work to quickly collect and evacuate storm water to eliminate flooding – thus reducing accidents. TraffikDrain can safely withstand loadings of heavy vehicles due to its integrally cast-in rail and bolted ductile iron grates. The system is independently certified to DIN 19580 Load Class E.

CurbDrain

D

CurbDrain™ is a modular curb with an integral drainage feature with 2 inlets per unit, to eliminate ponding along the curb line. The system comprises standard units, radius units, drop curbs, center curbs, 90° corner, tactile pavers, catch basin and access unit to ensure the system is easy to design and install for most road layouts. The curb profile and color matches standard Type 6 cement concrete curbs to ensure an aesthetic solution.

HighwayDrain

HighwayDrain is an 8” internal width trench drain monolithically cast from polymer concrete. The one-piece unit offers large liquid intake slots cast into the top surface, and a smooth U-shape polymer concrete cavity. This ensures quick collection and transfer of storm water away from road surfaces to eliminate flooding – thus reducing accidents. HighwayDrain can safely withstand loadings of fast moving vehicles as there are no parts that can vibrate loose. The system is independently certified to DIN 19580 Load Class E.

BridgeDrain

E

BridgeDrain offers an excellent drainage solution for bridge applications. The system comprises of a choice of scuppers, to collect storm water from the bridge deck surface, and a simple socket & spigot pipe system to transfer this storm water to catch basins at the appropriate positions beneath the bridge. Products are all manufactured from fiberglass to ensure maximum strength with minimum weight, which results in an easier and more economic installation as less fixing brackets are required.
