ACME has done 3 brainstorming sessions on HIRA with AMC, EMS & NMS and Projects Team.

What is HIRA: HIRA is a process that consists of a number of sequential steps such as hazard identiication, consequences & frequency assessment, risk estimation based on the existing controls and recommendations to reduce those risks which are not under acceptable limits.

Objective of HIRA: To carryout a systematic, critical appraisal of all potential hazards involving personnel, services and operation method; to identify the existing safeguards available to control the risks due to the hazards and; to suggest additional control measures to reduce the risk to acceptable level.

Results:

AIM-: The AIM of conducting such kind of training program is to robust EHS Management System, Continual Improvement & Sustainability in EHS Management in entire circles of ACME.

Earlier we have done such kind of programs in Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat & UP East Circle. During such kind of training programs, circle team also give training of technicians about new initiative of organizations & importance of RAS, FQB, Tab Utilization.

We have observed Sustainability in EHS Performance since last 4 months. There is an increase in the number of Safety Training & Audit. We have observed improvement in knowledge of our engineers in terms of EHS. There is a fall in the Safety Violations in the Circles. After training, we have also observed that Safety Champions are more responsive than earlier. They started participating in Safety Con-call & report any near-misses, accidents & unsafe activities.
