Although not required or certifcation, ACL recommends that you complete the appropriate training courses beore taking the exam. Additio nally, you should consider review o supplementary sources o inormation such as ACL online resources contained in our Support Center (www.acl.com/supportcenter ). Certifcation examinations are held at ACL- designated training acilities. T hese closed-book sessions are limited to 20 participants and are computer based. T hey are based on the most current version o ACL. See the training schedule at www.acl. com/services/training_schedule.aspxor exact dates and locations. Examin ation results will be tabulated electronically and then reviewed by an ACL certifed trainer. You will be notifed o your results within six weeks o completing your certifcation exam. By Experience : We are currently oering Certifcation by Experience, in addition to Certifcation by Examination. ACL Certifcation (ACDA) evaluates and recognizes your ability to integrate ACL technology into fnancial analyses and business processes, assuring senior management o your abilities to maximize the ull potential o your organization’ s ACL technology investment. Certifcation by Experience requires candidates to provide the ollowing: Completed application orm Required pre-requisites: Completion o ACL Certifed Tr aining (ACL/AX 100-level and ACL/AX 200-level; OR ACL/AX 300-level). For ACDA qualifcation, completion o AX153 OR AX173 training is equivalent to ACL/AX 300-level training Narrative o how audit analytics was used on two data analysis engagements An ACL Project demonstrating capability (no data required) I a candidate is accepted by experience, they will be awarded the ACDA. I not, they will be notifed and also automatically be scheduled into the next available A CDA exam (ACL 901) session.
