Achievements in 2020-21

Apr-20

1. Quarters Repaired and Prepared :-

Eight quarters repaired and prepared for quarantine of paramedic

staff of DRH Kalyan.

2. Pathway for Covid Patient :-

50 Meter long 1.5 Meter wide pathway for covid patients at DRH Kalyan.

3. Porta Cabin:-

Porta cabin for covid patient’s registration at DRH Kalyan

4. Modification of isolation ward for Covid patient:-

30 bed covid patients isolation ward was modified by closing doors

windows and providing mosquito nets, partitions, flooring ,painting

etc at DRH Kalyan.

MAY-20

1. Replacement of still girder bridge with PSC slab:-

Replacement of 3/9.14 m steel girder with PSC slab of waldhuni bridge Br.No.55/1 at

Km 55/12-14 between KALYAN-SAHAD. The existing steel girder major bridge No

55/1 was constructed in year 1854, the bridge is existing over Waldhuni river flowing

with industrial sewerage waste with very dirty & turbid water having highly infected chemicals due to which steel girder have been corroded badly and it was unsafe for

running traffic in section.

2. Launching of Girder :-

Launching of girders of Dombiwali FOB for span 1 and 2 was completed by 250 ton

road crane

3. Painting of 30 rooms for quarantine of Railway medical staff:-

Painting done in 30 rooms including dining hall and kitchen at Thakurli CETI hostel for quarantine of railway medical staff.

4. Replacement of 52kg ordinary diamond to 60kg ordinary diamond:-

On UPLL between DW-MBQ section km 41/11-13, replacement of 52kg ordinary

diamond to 60kg ordinary diamond work done during this month of Pt.No.101A & B.

JUNE-20

1. Rehabilitation work:-

Rehabilitation of MLND KYN End FOB done during the month at Km. 30/8-9.

2. Dismantling of FOB :-

Dismantling of Ambivali Station FOB by road crane

3. Construction of RUB in lieu of Level crossing:-

Box pushing for construction of RUB in lieu of Level crossing No. 60 at Km. 76/11-12

in Kalyan – Igatpuri section.

JULY-20

1. Commissioning of Swedeshi Mill FOB at Kurla:-

Swadeshi Mill 5m wide FOB newly constructed at KM 14/9-10 between SION-CLA. It

is MCGM deposit work. Two Span of 16.55m & 32.20m ,plate girder and RCC deck

slab.

2. Construction of New Ganghut:-

Construction of new Ganghut at Titwala and Bhiwandi road station.

3. Major Repairs of Station FOB :-

Major repair work of Thana BB end station FOB at Km. 32/20-22 done during this

month.

4. Rehabilitation Work:-

Rehabilitation of Mulund BB End FOB done during the month at Km. 30/6-7.

5. Dismantling of FOB :-

AUG-20

1. New FOB at Dombivali station :-

Dombiwali FOB of Kalyan end at km 48/12-14. 81meter long and 6m wide with five

nos. staircases connecting p.f.no.1A,1/2,3/4 and 5 and it also connects to KDMC

skywalk on both east and west of Dombivali station

2. Launching of plate girders at Titwala station:-

Launching of girders of titwala FOB 3rd span completed successfully with the help of

75 M/T capacity road crane overall length of girders is 22.40 meter.

3. Dismantling of Sever pipeline at Kopar station:-

Dismantling of sever pipe line bridge at Kopar station span no. 2 of 19meter long and

span no.3 of 15meter long with road crane of capacity 75 M/T.

4. New work at Railway School Kalyan :-

Repairing work of 4 nos WC,5nos urinals, 2nos table top wash basins with hall on the

terrace of science lab Railway School, Kalyan.

5. Cleaning of Waterway of Bridge No. 120/3:-

The arch culvert crossing down yard, P.F. NO. 1 to 4 and up yard EMU siding 1234

KSRA was constructed 160 years before when the railway track was laid. In the known history of 50 years it was not cleaned or de-silted. Total 135m Muck cleared

and waterway cleared.

1. New FOB at Titwala station :-

Completion and commencement of New FOB at Titwala station

(Platform No.1/2 to 3).

2. Temporary Goods Platform:-

Temporary goods platform of 315m length and 20m wide completed and commenced

at Bhiwandi Road station.

3. Launching FOB girder at Kurla station platform 6 & 7 CSMT end:-

Launching of FOB girder is done at Kurla station platform No. 6 & 7 CSMT end.

OCT-2020

1. Replacement of old staircase of FOB at Chinchpokli station CSMT end:-

Replacement of old staircase 1.80mwide with wider staircase 2.60m wide on PF No

1&2 at Chinchpokli station CSMT end.

Segmental box of 1.9×1.9 length 5mtr inserted Between NM 137-138.

3.Development of negative air pressure and AC ward at Railway Hospital,

Byculla:-Development of negative air pressure and AC ward by providing repair work of

floor, wall and False ceiling including panelling of halls etc for treatment of Covid-19

patients at first floor of Old Building at Byculla Hospital.

3. IBS at Ulhas Bridge between Kopar-Bhiwandi station:-

Completed IBS at Km 52/28 near Ulhas Bridge between Kopar-Bhiwandi on dated

NOV.2020

1. Renovation of heart station of Byculla railway hospital:-

Renovation of Heart station ( OPD room no. 102 & 103) at 1st floor new hospital

building of Byculla Railway Hospital by providing false ceiling, glass partition, new

glass main door, Painting and structural repairs etc completed.

2. Launching of 76.67m length open web girder :-

76.67m long open web girder at Patripool between THK-KYN section, launched on

date 22.11.2020 & 23.11.2020.

3. New FOB at Vikhroli station :-

New FOB of Length 60.0m and 6.0m width construction completed at Vikhroli station

by MRVC

DEC.2020

1. Repairs to FOB at Govandi station:-

Repairing work of middle FOB km 19/6-7 at Govandi station completed.

2. Launching of NHAI ROB girders between JASAI-JNPT.

Launching of 7 nos of NHAI ROB girders each of 80 MT at km 90/0-1 between JASAI-

JNPT section.

Jan-2021

1. Completion of Patripool ROB between Thakurli – Kalyan section.

The Patripool ROB completed on 25.01.2021 and inaugurated on 26.01.2021.

2. New FOB at Khandeshwar station Km 46/9 by MRVC :-

New FOB constructed at km 46/9 at Khandeshwar station.

3. Repairs to FOB at Ulhasnagar station.

Structural repair of 2.44m wide middle fob at Ulhasnagar station is completed as per

recommendation of IIT Mumbai & opened for passengers on 15/1/2021.

4. Repairs to FOB at Badlapur station.

Structural repairs of staircase of Badlapur station behind PF no 3 near up side

booking office connected to 2.44m wide fob is completed as per IIT Mumbai

recommendation & opened for passengers on 10/1/2021.

5. Painting of ROBs & FOBs.

Painting of 05 ROBs and 12 FOBs completed in this month.

6. Renovation of balance part of heart station of Byculla railway hospital :-

Renovation of balance part Heart station ( OPD room no. 102 & 103) at 1st floor new

hospital building of Byculla Railway Hospital by providing false ceiling, glass partition,

new glass main door, Painting and structural repairs etc completed on 26.01.2021.

7. Ramp for Military services at NGSM Mulund:-

New Ramp for Military service at NGSM Mulund commissioned on 20/01/21.

12.Reconstruction of destressed FOB staircase at Byculla station:-

Reconstruction of destressed FOB staircases on PF NO 4 and 2&3 KYN

end of Byculla station completed on 24.01.2021.

13.Double escalator at Vithalwadi station.

Double escalator at Vithalwadi station on up side connected to CSMT end 4.88 m wide fob

opposite up side staircase is completed on 05.01.2021 in

all respect and now ready for inauguration.

14.Handing over RRI to S&T department:-

New RRI is hander over to S&T department near Patripool, Kalyan Station on 01.01.2021.

15.Completion of stage flooring and false ceiling of auditorium in DRH,Kalyan :-Stage

flooring and false ceiling of auditorium of DRH, Kalyan completed on 25.01.2021.

16.Handing over RRI at Waldhuni to S&T department:-

New RRI is hander over to S&T department at Waldhuni, Kalyan on 01/01/2021.

17.Repairs to FOB AT Mulund station:-

Mulund station:- Repairs to FOB steps of Platform No. 1 & 2 completed on 29.01.2021.

18.Rehabilation of FOB at Dadar station:-

Dadar station: Rehabilitation of KYN end FOB at km 8/23-24 at Dadar station PF no 5-6

completed on 25.01.2021.

Feb-2021

1. Repairs to FOB at Byculla station.

Replacement of old dilapidated staircase of Byculla station Platform no.4 completed

on 25.02.2021.

2. Repairs to FOB at Dadar station:-

Deck and staircase replacement work of Dadar station PF no.5 KYN end completed on

26.02.2021.

3. Repairs to FOB at Bhandup station BB end:-

Bhandup Station : Mumbai end Station FOB - Strengthening of N type truss bottom

chord angles , replacement of corroded deck slab for UPTH-DNTH- 5th&6th Lines ,

reconstruction of three staircases steps on PF no.2/3 and on east side completed on

22.02.2021

4. Repairs to FOB at Mulund station BB end:-

Mulund Station: Reconstruction of staircase connecting Overhead Booking Office on

east side to Public FOB at Mumbai end of Mulund Station completed on 24.02.2021.

5. Repairs to FOB at Thane station KYN end old FOB:-

Thane Station : KYN end Old FOB - Strengthening of N type truss bottom chord

angles , replacement of corroded deck slab from PF no 5/6 to PF no.10A on east side

completed on 21.02.2021 .

10.Repairs to FOB at Badlapur station middle FOB:-

Repairs to unsafe staircase of middle fob 2.44m wide on Platform no:-

1/2 is completed & opened for passengers on 17.2.2021.

11.New negative pressure ward in Railway hospital, Kalyan.

Check rails removed and temporary obstruction provided till new wall is constructed.

vi. Level Crossing No.34 & 35 at Jasai-Uran section closed by diversion on dated 20.03.2021.

2. PSR Removal:- 02Nos. of permanat speed restrication removed in DEN East

Section. i. PNVL-JSLE km 79/3-78/4 on UP line,55kmph speed restriction due to

5deg. Curve & less super elevation relaxed to sectional speed 65kmph

with effect from 26.03.2021

ii.PNVL-APTA km 78/2-79/2 Down line, 95kmph speed restiction due to

3degree curve relax to sectional speed 110kmph with effect from

23.03.2021

3. Speed Raising of Loop line:- On DW-BSR section, speed raised to 30kmph

for 1st loop turnouts at 3 stations ,6 Loops of 3.6km length.

4. Newly commissioned escalator:- At PF No. 18 CSMT station new

Escalater was provided.

5. RPF office :- At CSMT station at entrance of PF 14-18 newly commissioned

RPF office inaugurated by Hon’ble GM during GM annual inspection of CSMT-

KYN section.

6. Improvement of SION colony:- Rennovation and infrastructure

development at Sion Railway colony which is very much usefull to colony

resident and same inagurated by Hon’ble GM during GM annual inspection of

CSMT-KYN section.
