❖ Maths: Massive congratulations to Ethan Forward year 9 who made it through to the elite kangaroo round of the UK intermediate maths challenge and scored a fabulous 91 marks. From Miss Johnson

❖ Maths: Huge thank you to 9YCA for allowing an external visitor to record their Maths lesson to help train other teachers. Special mention to Matty Thompson who, directly to the camera, gave a very articulate and well thought explanation as to why one sixth was not equal to 6%. From Mr Crampton

❖ Science: Massive well done for all 8XAJ for their fantastic efforts with the “I’m a medic” NHS National competition. An extra special well done to Mariam Hassouna and Molly Dixon who the judges have highly commended for their competition entry. ❖ French: Mr Stalker would like to thank 8XLL for their hard work in recent lessons on pen pal letters to our partner school in France. A special well done goes to Pippa Marshall-Smith, Rebecca Walker and Milly Scott for leading a team in producing a fantastic presentation about our school to show the French pupils.
