day which will be based on the hit BBC TV show ‘Dragons’ Den’.
• You will develop the following skills, contributing to work related learning skills necessary to succeed in the world of business:– Team work– Financial planning– Marketing– Communication– Project management

You will be able to purchase food from the canteen
Equipment
You must bring usual school equipment (pencil case etc)
Timings
Arrive: 8:30am and register in tutor groups
Dismissed: 3:10pm

Financial Planning Day
• All activities are based in school• The aim of this day is to ensure you have the necessary
information to make informed choices about your future • By the end of the day, you will participate in:
– Personal finance: Lloyds bank will be delivering a practical session on how to manage personal finance
– Work experience choices: You MUST make work experience choices even if you have your own placement set up
– Career planning: you will look into job vacancies and plan what you need to do to achieve your goals
