Acheivements and Milestones of Bodhi Tree Special School

We are truly pleased to share achievements and Milestones of Bodhi Tree Special School with all of

you. We are immensely moved by the spirit of project. We are falling in line of resurrecting well

beings of these children through inclusive tools in light of cultural settings of cross communities.

Our helpline is truly reaching unreached communities and helping to share stories and struggles.

The effort is now being recognized by multiple stakeholders imperatively. We take opportunities to

thank each one of you for trusting this experiment in love and gross generosity. We critically

recognize great deal of patience trust of each stakeholder. The journey of success went through

several bottlenecks and impediments but we truly enjoyed these experiences. We are very proud of

children and they are responding more than we expected. We are also grateful for parents for

trusting us keeping aside cultural stereotypes and beliefs. We hope to continue recycling their

dreams fostering a sense of vivid hopefulness.

Young psychologists impacting the process of interventions

Parents Participation

At the beginning the major deal was to make parents believe that these children may have normal

life and they are simply differently baled. They may easily be integrated into mainstream

communities of children. Since the children are mostly from secluded communities sidelined over

the decades and have experienced hardships and deprivation hence they lacked to believe the facts.

But now they are participating in every affair of child if they are needed. We are moved by the

degree of cooperation they are extending. The sparks of hopes in their eyes and confidence in

smiles simply illustrate that we are touching communities gently. They seem ready to dismiss single

story of denial and deprivation.

Standard of assessment and evaluation

We are absolutely committed to having prudent assessment and evaluation of each child with

remarkable parameter. We are also involving high ends professionals into practice.

Disseminating skills of practices and orienting skills of our technical staff Members

We are indeed working in remote villages of Bodhgaya Region of Bihar India yet our effort is to

prescribe and practice best approaches. We recently invited clinical Psychologist Dr Mansi from

Metropolitan Bombay for leading workshop for our staff members. Yes the workshop yielded to

upscale approaches. We are very open to explore multiple tools that are being used in training,

orienting and educating children with special needs. Since India is currently experiencing a sort of

paradox that young professionals aspire to work in the cities. Here we also succeeded to

demonstrate attitudinal shift and we now have a clinical psychologist on full term basis.
