    Puppetry-Acting Workshop by Rouge 28 Theatre Theatre Arts Department

    17:00 20:00 Pupp-acting is an innovative form of performance which fuses acting and puppetry. Performers are able to simultaneously animate a Bunraku-style puppet and interact with it whilst embodying another character. Participants will train with the companys specially designed puppets and learn the three core principles of pupp-acting: body, gaze and speech. Suitable for people with some experience in performance. Black Box Theatre

Rouge28 Theatre is a troupe of international artists based in London. Their work fuses puppetry and performing arts to produce original and intriguing visual theatre. Urashima Taro has been possible with support for its creation by Arts Council England, the Sasakawa Foundation, UK-Japan 150 and the Puppet Centre Trust. Black Box Theatre
