How to Protect Your Organisation from Counterfeits

HP customers confirm: ACF delivery inspections ensure safe bulk purchases

10 out of 10of HP’s corporate customers would recommend free CDIs to other customers1

The latest customer feedback in our ongoing survey1 on Customer Delivery Inspections (CDIs) is highly positive: Around 100% of HP customers confirm that CDIs are perfect to protect them from illicit trade in counterfeits and recommended such free-of-charge inspections to other customers.

Request a CDI if you have received a suspicious mid- or large-size printing supplies delivery. The CDI User Guide is your gateway to learn more about this free service and to request an inspection.

Check HP’s security label and report your suspicionsTo protect your organisation from risky fakes, it pays to look at the security labels on your HP cartridges. These three quick steps allow you to determine if a product is suspicious:

Tilt the box front to back to see if the label’s ‘OK’ and ‘ü’ symbols move in opposite directions; tilt right to left to see if the symbols move in the same direction.

Click to see the label in motion (toner) (ink and PageWide)

    1) Check the holographic features 3) Check for missing labels2) Scan the QR code

Scan the label’s Quick Response (QR) code with your smartphone for an immediate response from HP, or validate the code on hp.com/go/ok.

All original HP toner cartridges carry a security label, as do PageWide supplies in general. A missing label on these products should make you suspicious. In addition, select original HP ink cartridges come with a label too.
