The next major vehicle inspection is due October 15, 2013.

Inspections must be completed on an Atlas Van Lines inspection form.

Inspections must be completed at an Atlas approved shop or have a level 1

C.V.S.A. state inspection and have been issued stickers per unit. (Atlas will ac-

cept any of these inspections completed after August 15, 2013, for the October

inspection.)

A Vehicle Maintenance Log must be completed and submitted on each unit for the inspection to be valid.

Inspection forms can be found in the back of your log book or from any Ace branch office.

Please forward all completed inspections directly to Ace Safety, attention Chuck.

If you have any questions please call Chuck Lance at Ace Safety.

credit to your company

mended for the way they

represent the absolute

right way to conduct

business.”

Checkpoint ~ Atlas Vehicle Inspections Due

Truck Stop ~ Reminder About Totes, Kathy Fleming Please paper wrap and then tape your totes. DO NOT place tape directly onto the tote itself. Also, check con-

tents inside and repack if necessary. Wrap, tape and inventory as CP. It is very important to inventory what is

inside as opposed to writing “misc” on your inventory sheet. This will save on Claims and missing item issues

later on.

Any Military questions, please call Kathy directly at 858-410-2424.

Frontage Road ~ Jeremy Day and the team at 62

Really? Labor Day already? What a summer and thankfully it ap-

pears to be extending into September! Ace 62 has been busy like the

rest of the company and while we have a few scars to show, we suc-

cessfully navigated through one of the toughest peak seasons in

memory.

On the local/CA side, our contractor base is as good as it gets. Said

Azzaloualidine, Dan Acheson, TDT Trucking (Tony Casco), Jose

Uribe and Zeller Trucking. These guys have done an outstanding

job all year and are true professionals who stepped up during a ro-

bust summer. I also want to acknowledge Dan Havey who has logged

more Canadian time than I am sure he would like, but is always game to

make it happen and happen with outstanding results. And due to all of the successes of all of our van operators

and the top notch scores they are producing, 62 picked up another Milt Hill for 2012/2013 – a feat that every

member of the staff at 62 can be very proud of. The Milt Hill is more than just doing your job – it is doing it at

the highest level.

On the sales side, all of our folks are having record years. Carrie Corless is booking like crazy, Ronnette broke

the 100 move ceiling last month for GSA, Kevin and Ming are on pace to have their best years yet and Lindsey

is consistently booking commercial business. All of them understand that they are only as good as the drivers,

helpers, and crew who make it happen and they asked me to send a thank you from them to the teams making it

happen.

We added a new face earlier this summer that I am sure most of you have spoken to and that is our west coast

Receptionist, Carol Smith. Carol has done a wonderful job handling what is a truly busy desk and getting all

the calls routed correctly and always with a smile – welcome to the team, Carol.

That’s it from Sunny San Diego!
