Accra Ghana ACCRA MINING NETWORK DONATES TO THE FLOOD VICTIMS Moved by the gory footages displayed on both the mainstream media and on social media, the Accra Mining Network on June 26, 2015 made the first of many donations to the July 3 flood victims of Accra. The items made up of both new and used clothing and cartons of toilet soap totaling GHS 2,000 were presented to the victims via the TV3 News Network at Adesawe-Accra. The General Secretary of the Accra Mining Network, Mr. Raymond Kudzawu-D'Pherdd, expressed their most empathetic condolences to the affected families and prayed that their donation would contribute to ameliorating their current situation caused by the unfortunate flooding incident. Receiving the items on behalf of the victims, the representing PR of TV3, expressed gratitude for the gesture, as well as for the confidence reposed in them in gathering the donations for the victims. The Accra Mining Network is a platform where mining industry professionals meet, learn and earn, through advocacy, conferencing, training and fora.
