Procedure:
1. Startwithyour3”x24”and3”x25”textweightpapersandlaytheshorterpaperontopofthelongerone.Makeascorealongtheedgeoftheshorterpaperwherethelongpaperpeeksoutfromtheshortpaper.
2. Foldbackthetabwhereyouscored.3. Nextfold8-panelaccordionoutofthetwostrips.Keepthetabfoldeduponthestrip
withthetab,andfoldasifthefoldedtabweretheendofthepaper.Startwithyourpaperstrip.Nextfoldyourstripinhalf:

4. Nextfoldbothedgesofthepapertomeetthefirstfoldyoumade.
5. Openthepapersyouhavefoldedandbringeachfoldovertomeettheedgeofthe
paperoneatatimeandpressdowntomakeacrease.

7. Connectbothaccordionstogetherbygluingthetabthatyoumadeinsteponeand
twoandattachingittotheotherfoldedaccordion.

8. Makespinepiece:getyour1½”x3”textweightpaperandmeasure¼”fromleftedge
andmarktopandbottom.Repeatonrightedge.Foldrightedgeovertomeetmarksonleftside.Repeatonrightsideandattachtospineofaccordion.
9. Putasmallamountofglueonflapsofspinepiece,NOTthecenterspineitself.Place
overthespineoftheaccordion.
10. Gluecoverboardsonfrontandback.Makesureyourcoverlinesupwithopenedgeofyourbook.
