On Campus ( Zhongguanyuan Global Village PKU):

Good conditions, fairly new, but a bit expensive. RMB 4500 for one month (a single room) at least. Callingthem is suggested to reserve an accommodation.

On Campus ( Shaoyuan) :

The following link is to Shaoyuan. They have staff speaking English. Many international students will beleaving their accommodation in Shaoyuan. There will be valid room after June. The price is usuallyRMB30/day.

The condition in Shaoyuan is not good but it is walking distance to the classrooms.

Outside Campus Agencies:

Some areas close to campus are wudakou, wan liu & haidian.

The following area agencies you can get apartments from. The usual commission for these agents is onemonths rent. A deposit is usually necessary and should not exceed one month worth.

If youre staying longer than 2-3weeks at one hotel, ask for a 30% discount. Some places gives up to 50%discount if you stay for months at a time. Discounts will be less for apartments. Approximate prices aregiven in this e-mail, however you can try to bargain for an additional 500-1000rmb.
