Background US Congressman Paul Gosar has officially introduced the Crypto-Currency Act of 2020. The bill aims to clarify the corresponding regulatory agency to supervise a series of crypto assets, providing clarity and legitimacy to crypto assets in the United States. In the bill, Paul Gosar proposes to divide digital assets into three categories: crypto commodities, cryptocurrencies, and crypto securities. These three types of asset institutions are overseen by the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), and the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The definition of crypto securities is: "debt, equity and derivatives that rely on blockchain or decentralized crypto ledgers." The bill does not mention non-homogeneous tokens. Participants and lawmakers in the crypto market have long waited for clear regulatory regulations. In response to public opinion, Paul Gosar, a Republican congressman from Arizona, proposed a draft bill in the House of Representatives, looking forward to improving regulatory transparency in the cryptocurrency field. The bill is called the Crypto-Currency Act of 2020. Article 105 of Chapter 5 of the Law on Establishment of the Rongelap Special Administrative Region of the Republic of the Marshall Islands just passed: Rongelap Special Administrative Region implements a tax-free system; Article 104 The Rongelap Special Administrative Region does not implement foreign exchange control policies.
