The low pressure retractable system is made of AISI-SAE 316 Steel, according the standard NACE MR-01-75. For operation: Requires the use of the Retractor System . For pressures lower than 100 psi it is recommended to use the T-Handle. The high pressure retractable system is made of AISI-SAE 316 Steel, according with the standard NACE MR-01-75 RETRACTABLE SYSTEM HIGH PRESSURE RETRACTABLE SYSTEM FOR INTERNAL CORROSION MONITORING RETRACTOR SYSTEM The Retractor System is a mechanical device made of SAE 4140 Steel and aluminum, according with the standard NACE MR-01-75. Is a tool used for removal and insertion of coupons easily and securely during high temperatures procedures. This system can be joined with both the box of the retractable system and the coupon holder stick.SUPPORT EQUIPMENT SUPPORT EQUIPMENT COUPON AND BIOCOUPON HOLDER CAP Biocoupons exposure system configuration Laminar coupons exposure system configuration The system for the pitting corrosion assessment allows to calculate maximum corrosion rate of a bare metal inside industrial systems. This device can be placed inside lines or storage tanks. It also requires exposure of metallic probes that are strategically located and have certain surface preparationin order to facilitate the deposition and establishment of microorganisms communitiesSYSTEM FOR THE PITTING CORROSION ASSESSMENT COUPONS FOR CORROSION MONITORING The main purpose of the coupons designed by the C.I.C. is the corrosion rate monitoring by gravimetric method. There are different coupon sizes and geometric distributions for the corrosion monitoring through electrochemical probes. The coupons fabrication material depends on the user needs or the environment aggressiveness, it is chosen taking into account the pipeline system, particular interest or by advise of the C.I.C. The coupons are delivered inhibited, wrapped in paper and inside a waxed paper envelope and are individually vacuum packed. Corrosion Rate: Gravimetric coupons provide a quantitave measurement of corrosion rate inside a monitoring system, in some cases the morphological deterioration can be associated to an specific agent. The scales presented in pipelines is the object of study with this coupon type, situation that can be referenced with the holes of the coupon.WeldingUsed for preferential corrosion studies due to the dissimilarity of the materials belonging to the welding joint. The area of study is nearby the welding spot. Flush DiscThe coupon is located so it simulates the pipe wall. It is also used in multiphase flow, allowing damage differentiation on each phase thanks to a cascade distribution.Disc 7/8" x 1/8" x 5/16"ElectrochemicalElectrode used during electrochemical tests. Fabricated with the material needed for study, which works as an open circuit electrical terminal. The electrode is excited by an applied sign, in that way there can be obtained an answer from system.Cylindrical 1 x3/16x R 4-40Side StreamRevolver3" x 3/4" x 1/8"3" x 1/2" x 1/16"LaminarBiocoupon 5/16"The biocoupon consists of a metallic piece with a surface finish of 0,003mm thickness. It is encapsulated inside an electrical insulating. It is is supposed to degrade by pitting corrosion and/or by biofilm formation.Address: Km 2 Va Refugio, Sede UIS, Guatiguar,Piedecuesta, Santander.
