Vodafone, one of the global leaders in telecom, has achieved growth through a series of major acquisitions. Vodafone’s senior management understood that achieving the operational and organizational efficiency it wanted would require a more integrated approach to business processes and a common technology platform for the global business. The resulting program represented the largest IT transformation in Vodafone’s history. The program involved the creation of a global model, based on a single integrated ERP solution from SAP with a common suite of applications and cutting-edge technology for enterprise mobility and analytics (SAP HANA). The goal was to help ensure that Vodafone’s global business could benefit from high-quality and consistent information, greater value and lower costs across finance, human resources and supply chain functions.

A government water department collaborated with Accenture to implement a monitoring and evaluation system on its journey to high performance. In its home country, this government water department is responsible for the supply and availability of water at the national level, and provides quarterly reports to a number of stakeholders. To help enhance its reporting capabilities and improve its regular audit scores, the department worked with Accenture to assess current reporting capabilities, establish balanced scorecards and key performance indicators, and implement a new monitoring and evaluation system.
