“ The cafeteria was specifically designed for
a training facility that enhances the technical
and leadership skills of personnel working on
offshore oil rigs. The curvature of the Infusions
panels evokes the waves of the gulf as well
as coastal Louisiana.

“ The John Peace Library had not seen significant
renovation since 1976. Students in the fortress-like
concrete building complained of poor lighting,
uncomfortable furniture, lack of study spaces, and
a general absence of aesthetics. Key to the
renovation project was the integration of technology
to support new ways to research and learn. The
curved metallic Armstrong Infusions panels reinforce
the Library’s move forward into the digital age.
The undulating curves have a strong visual impact,
especially when reflected in the exterior windows,
and help to signal that this building is once again
significant. This is reflected by the usage rates which
have skyrocketed from a few hundred to almost
five thousand students per day.

spiritWe wanted the look and volume of an exposed
ceiling while still having a ceiling cloud shape
that offered visual interest and helped maintain
proper lighting levels. Using the transparent
panels in the shape of a large ‘AU’ accomplished
that goal and also highlights the Ashland
University athletic spirit.

We originally chose to use these canopies
because we loved the movement and the
whimsy they created in this large angular
space. Plus, the color tied in perfectly with
the client’s logo design! We linked the
canopies because it created depth and
interest in the space and also directed the
eye into the workshop where they build
the roadsters.

The central colonnade in the Student Center
forms the main organizational feature of the
building, creating a pedestrian path that links
the Eastern Connecticut State University campus
together. It was important that the space be
welcoming and filled with light. The Infusions
Canopies reinforced the barrel-vaulted shape of
the ceiling, and helped to provide the luminosity
that we were looking for.

Kauffman Stadium’s iconic feature is its
322-foot wide water spectacular, which shoots
into action during key plays of the baseball
games. We selected the Infusions Canopies
to bring the idea of water movement into the
entry lobby, the first interior experience of the
ballpark, which incorporate well with the native
limestone feature walls and demonstrate the
continuity between earth and water. Also, the
translucent blue calls not only to water, but to
the royals’ primary team color.

“ We were looking for a suspended ceiling above
the circulation desk at the Children’s Library
that would be both playful and allow daylight
from clerestory windows above to pass
through. Infusions Clear Arbor Lay-in panels
accomplished both objectives and we couldn’t
be more pleased with the result.
