Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the organizing committee, we are pleased to invite you to 5th International

symposium referring to Human resources and regional development.

Holding of the Symposium, every fourth year, confirms the belief of the organising

institutions in commitment and work of Berislav Beta Berić, a scientist who made a major

contribution to professional, scientific and practical insight into the demographic issues in the

territory of Vojvodina Province.

AIM OF THE SYMPOSIUM

The main aim of the symposium is to compare the current demographic trends in the region

with the similar or same demographic trends in Europe and worldwide, as well as to indicate the

good practice examples.

13-14 November 2014, venue- the Great Hall of the Assembly of the Vojvodina Province in Novi

Sad, Banovinski Prolaz, Serbia.

Applications for participation shall be made through the registration form (on the last page of this

notification) submitted to the e-mail address: [email protected] Apart from the

registration form, it is also necessary to send a summary of the paper (approximately 200 words),

by 15 April 2014, at the latest.

NOTE: One author may participate with only two papers, as single author or co-author.

The second notification on the approval of the paper shall be sent to the registered participants by

15 May 2014.

Papers which received positive reviews shall be published in the Proceedings of the Matica Srpska

for Social Sciences.

Complete papers shall be submitted by 1 September 2014 (using MS Word, maximum 8 pages

written in Times New Roman, font size 12, and they should follow the APA format). Papers should
