The Tata Institute of Social Sciences and the Brothers of Charity solicit your gracious presence on this auspicious occasion of the Academic Session ‘World Mental Health Day: Breaking the chains of stigma’.

The Brothers of Charity (founded in Belgium) are a service provider in mental health since 1815 and are active in more than 26 countries. In India they are active in Ranchi (Jharkhand), Sivagangai (Tamil Nadu) and Calicut (Kerala) and have established since 2008 an academic collaboration in the field of mental health with Tata Institute of Social Sciences. Main purpose of the academic collaboration is to

The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) was established in 1936 as the Sir Dorabji Tata Graduate School of Social Work. In 1944, it was renamed as the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. The TISS has established collaborative research and student exchange programmes with over 25 universities and consortiums in Africa, Asia, the United States and Europe.
