REPORT OF SHRAVAN FESTIVAL PROGRAM

Date: - 28th August 2018

Time: 12.00 noon.

Venue: College Campus, 1st floor, College Building

Resource Person: Principal Dr. B. L .Jadhav Sir, Dr. Mrs. Snehal Donde Madam,Mrs.

Sonali Dharia Madam, Mr.Sudesh Kadam Sir, Mrs. Vidya Gujar Madam.

Introduction: Shravan Festival Program was organized on 28th August 2018 at 12.00

noon. It was attended by Students and all the staff members. The chief guest of the

program was Dr. Mrs. Snehal Donde while Principal Dr. B. L .Jadhav, Mrs. Sonali

Dharia, Mr. Sudesh Kadam, and Mrs. Vidya Gujar were also present for the function.

Objective: The objective of this program was to celebrate the shravan month and to

share the information of all the festivals in the month of shravan.

Detailed Proceeding: The celebration of Shravan Festival Program started with the

welcoming of chief guest by GS and JS and CR of the college. Then the programme

commenced with lighting of lamp by all the guests. The introduction of the

programme was given by GS of the college Mr. Kunal Dalavi (TYIT) and then the

anchoring was done by Sayali More (FYBMS) & Vishal Pedamkar (FYBMS).

Dr. Mrs. Snehal Donde madam talked about various activities her College conducts.

Madam explained the students about the participation of students should be in all the

activities so that there will be vibrancy in the college. The students would then feel

confident and shall overcome stage fright. Then madam introduced IQAC coordinator

as Mrs. Jyoti Poojary to the students. Then she called all CR, GS, JS on stage and

declared the students’ council team. This team was to represent our college and

would ensure that the students would be active in all the college events.

The program continued with singing and poem recitation competition arranged as a

part of shravan festival. The theme was decided as shravan songs related to rainy

environment.

Many students participated in the competition. The traditional dress code were

decided for the event.

Vote of thanks was given by JS of the college Mr. Nikhil Utekar. Then the

programme was declared finished.
