The self-unloading bulk carrier Acacia is a scraper self-unloader. The vessel is a forebody conversion built in 2008.

Acacia is equipped with a MacGregor BHM cargo scooper system that recovers material from the top of the cargo hold and scrapes it towards one of two bucket elevators that sit between cargo holds 1 and 2 and cargo holds 3 and 4. Cargo is taken to the top of the bucket elevator and dropped on to a longitudinal starboard side conveyor and carried forward to a telescopic boom.

Acacia can carry powder and granular cargoes. The vessel transports cement, fly ash, clinker, gypsum, mineral sands and dolomite.
