Abu Dhabi Global Summit for Young EntrepreneursThis Summit is organized by We are the Future and Abu Dhabi University to inspire youth and their drive to be entrepreneurs. The summit begins the movement to create a world class entrepreneurial hub in Abu Dhabi. The event will be held over two days. It will feature inspirational speakers and successful entrepreneurs to inspire young minds to be future entrepreneurs. There will be The Idea Factor competition to find the best ideas which can be developed into successful business ventures.
The Idea Factor CompetitionThe Idea Factor is an annual competition organized by the College of Business at Abu Dhabi University to encourage young minds towards innovative business ideas and entrepreneurship. You will need to form a team of 1-3 members, develop an innovative business idea that has a potential to be a sustainable business venture. The idea could be an innovative or improved product, service, process or out-of-the-box business concept that can be profitably marketed.
Who Can Participate in the Competition?The competition is open to High School and Undergraduate University Students in the UAE and the region. There would be separate tracks for high school students and university students. One team can submit only one proposal, however, multiple teams from the same school/university are allowed.
How Do I Submit My Idea?Teams should submit their ideas in the form of an elevator pitch video, this video should be no more than 2 minutes in length and provide information about the following:
• What is your idea?• Why this idea?• Who are your target customers/market?• How will your business be sustainable?

Closing dates for submission of your video December 8, 2014.The submissions will be evaluated and shortlisted teams will be notified by Dec 12, 2014.
What are the Prizes?There will be a range of prizes awarded for the winners in each category. These will include, laptops, iPads, mobile phones and tickets to attractions across the UAE. Overall winners will be eligible to progress their ideas into reality with business model validation and seed funding.
