Effective absence tracking

The Mitre�nch Time and Attendance system provides an easy-to-use, cost-e�ective solution to absencemanagement. This intuitive absence tracking application can be con�gured with unlimited absence codes torepresent di�erent types of leave, including planned sick leave, unplanned sick leave, vacation, and personalleave - across all departments, teams and employees.

Analyse the true cost of absence

Track the direct costs associated with absenteeism, such as salary paid to the absent employee, as well asthe indirect costs incurred due to lost productivity and the cost of hiring “replacement” or contract sta�.Compare clockings to schedules and automatically notify supervisors when clockings fall outside plannedparameters. The system can also be con�gured to send a warning if absences violate company policy orworkplace legislation.

Absence pro�ling and tracking

Each employee has a personal real-time absence pro�le.Employees can access these pro�les to see how often theyhave been absent, how many sick and personal days theyhave remaining, etc.

If the data in the absence tracking software indicatesproblem trends such as recurring absences after longweekends the manager can address and take actiondesigned to change the behavior of the employee.

Absence pro�les for groups of employees can also beretrieved for the system. For example, if productivity orcustomer service is lacking in one particular group orteam, the user can click on that team’s absence pro�le todetermine if absenteeism may be a contributory factor.

Automate leave requests

Employees can request leave direct through the Mitre�nch TMS system, either via the Mitre�nch SelfService portal or Mitre�nch TMS for Outlook where it is then approved or denied by management.

Once approved, it is entered into the system, giving both employees and management up-to-date visibility.No more spreadsheets means less work for human resources and supervisors, and fewer errors.

The system is con�gured to automatically ensure that leave adheres to company, federal, state, local, andindustry regulations, mitigating the risk for costly �nes and penalties.

Avert sta� shortfalls with leave restrictions

Leave Slots allow management to limit how many sta�members can be o� on a given day or time period.Employees cannot request absence once the limit hasbeen reached.

This functionality serves to avert sta� shortfalls duringspeci�c periods of time and is particularly useful intimes of high demand for leave and holidays, as well astimes of increased activity i.e. January Sales for Retailorganizations.

Within the Time and Attendance System, a Supervisor ofa particular shift, site, department or location can restrictthe number of absences that can be booked by theirteam or group.

When an employee tries to book over a restricted periodthey will be asked to book a di�erent period of absence ifall slots have already been booked.

Employees can view Leave Slots via the Group AbsencePro�le.
