Sign upAll users will have to sign up for a new account before they can use the app. You cannot use any current ABRSM account details with
Music Case.
It only takes a couple of minutes and then you will be able to access all the features of the app.

Create a username: This must begin with a letter or number and can contain letters, numbers and following symbols _ -
Create a password: This must be between 8 and 64 characters and have at least 3 of the following:- A lowercase letter- An uppercase letter- A digit- A symbol
Enter your email address then verify
it using the code we will send to you.
If it doesn’t arrive check your spam
folder.
Complete all the remaining fields (all the fields in this page are mandatory) then tap create.
If you are under 13 you will need a parent to set up an account for you.
Android users tap the year to easily find the year you need to enter.

Music Case is designed to be owned and used by the student. If you sign up as a teacher you will not see the practice tracking tools that are available to the student.

Notebooks
Create a Notebook to store all the practice goals that your teacher sets you. You can even share i t with your teacher, parentsor friends.
They’re quick to set up and can be created by simply entering the instrument you are learning.

Practice goals
Create Practice Goals for each task you want to work on when practising.
You can add videos, recordings or images to each goal you set yourself to remind you what you need to do as
you work on them between lessons.

Notebook sharingYou can share a notebook with a teacher, parent or friend. Once a notebook is shared they wil l be able to see your practicegoals, the total time you have practised and the number of days practised in a row for each goal. Users viewing a sharednotebooks will not be able to see any recordings or other media that the notebook creator has saved to their practice goals.
To share your notebook, the person you want to share with must go to the shared tab. Select the “Scan a new code” button
and scan your QR code.

Practice session
Once a practice goal is created, select i t f rom your notebook and the app will start logging your practice time .
On the Practice session screen you can use the toolbar at the bot tom to quickly create recordings of yourself practicing.Recording your practice and listening back to i t is a great way to identify where you can improve. Save to show your teacheror to listen back to and hear how much you have progressed.

Use the skills tab after selecting an instrument to ensure that you are practising evenly across all of the skill groups.
