VISHWAGANDHA – IW DIST. CONFERENCE

The 45th Inner wheel District conference “Vishwagandha”- fragrance of friendship 2014 was held at Rajendra Kala Mandir on 13th and 14th of Dec.

The theme 'Light the Path' for Inner Wheel this year means connecting people and creating opportunities to mend and amend in IW clubs. IW ladies were dressed in vibgyor colours. Midtown’s Geethakka brought Santa Claus alive, Chandrika accompanied as Angel during the inaugural session.

The chief guest Mrs Manjula Manasa was overwhelmed by the way she was welcomed, reminded her of being a bride. She felt happy looking at IW ladies dressed well and looking charming. As she is

seeing women being exploited in different ways in different fields, she requested IW to come forward to protest and raise their voices to the rescue of victimized women. The cultural program by all IW clubs of Mysore was well executed. Mandya Ramesh's drama was very entertaining as ever.

Our IW Midtown Parvathi (Prabha) Ganapathy (Chaitra) Narada(Sheela Sanjay) influenced by modern human race worried Shiva(Lavanya) looking at his wife and son changed and doctor ( Anupama) on toes were fantastic feast for our eyes. Other IW clubs from the Mysore city also entertained the crowd with their variety programmes.

The EC members had taken trouble organising the decoration, food where each and every aspect was taken care of. The business meet went on well where District Chairman Mrs.Vinita Satish took all the trouble to follow the function to complete as p e r s c h e d u l e d t i m e . Mrs.Anuradha Nandakumar got elected as the district editor for the year 2015-16 from IW Midtown. - Sheela Urs

RI BOARD DECISIONSOctober 2014The second 2014–15 RI Board of Directors meeting was held on 27–30 October 2014 in Evanston, Illinois, USA. At this meeting, the Board reviewed 15 committee reports and recorded 82 decisions.Club and DistrictIn reviewing districting matters, the Board reorganized:

Ÿ District 3010 (India) into new Districts 3011 and 3012, effective 1 July 2015

Ÿ District 3140 (India) into new Districts 3141 and 3142, effective 1 July 2016

Ÿ District 3180 (India) into new Districts 3181 and 3182, effective 1 July 2016

The Board also reassigned District 2060 (Italy) from Zone 19 to Zone 12, effective 1 July 2015.

15 Dec, 2014 is black day in the history of humanity. Barbaric, inhuman cowards killed 132 innocent children in a army school in Peshawar, Pakistan, citing revenge as the reason.
