The film love actually is another British Rom com therefore will attract the same audience and hopefully become just as successful.

This gives the public a teasor of what will be included in the film. By releasing a trailer months before its release it allows for the audience to grow and build up anticipation for the release. The trailer creates a mass audience and tells the audience straight away if it appeals to them.

Film poster and promotional pictures This film poster is typical for a RomCom, it creates a happy atmosphere and suggests the film is going to be about Love. This immediately shows us it is going to be a predominantly female audience aim. On the front of the poster it says previous films the company of ‘working title’ have produced such as Love actually and Notting Hill this means that audiences who have previously enjoyed these films will possibly enjoy this newly released film.

This is an extra promotional image that has been released by the film company this gives the audience a sneak peak preview of the film and allows for a build up of anticipation. Also it shows a hashtag which suggests use of a social network opening the audience up to teenagers.
