ABOUT THE NEW MEXICO JAZZ FESTIVAL: Founded in 2006, The New Mexico Jazz Festival is a collaborative project of the Outpost Performance Space and The Lensic Performing Arts Center in Santa Fe. An exciting destination event, the festival features local as well as world-renowned artists and jazz masters performing at indoor and outdoor venues in both Albuquerque and Santa Fe, including many free events. Over the years, the festival has featured artists ranging from Sonny Rollins and McCoy Tyner to Cassandra Wilson, Pharoah Sanders, Toumani Diabate, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Dianne Reeves, Arrested Development, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Allen Toussaint, and many more!
