ABOUT THE OLD DRUM BUS:

HOURS of SERVICE. Monday through Friday: 7:38am to 4:38pm Saturday & Sunday: CLOSED We are also closed on major holidays and during inclement weather. When there is bad weather or snow days, you can listen to KOKO 1450 AM radio; if the local schools are closed, Old Drum is also closed.

The hourly schedule shows the minutes (:xx) after each hour the bus is scheduled to be at each stop during the hours of service above.

It may be helpful to remember: Round trips are one hour (60 minutes) from each stop. Walmart (#7) is always at the top of the hour (:00)

BUS FARES. Rides of all services listed on this brochure are $1.50 per person per ride, but kids 12 and under ride for 50¢. Kids must be ac-companied by an adult. Prices effective October 1, 2012.

ON TIME. Although we strive to stay on time for each of our stops, we may run up to 10 minutes late from time to time due to unforeseen rea-sons. We appreciate your patience and cooperation while we work to get back on schedule. We may also run up to 5 minutes early at some stops. Please plan your trips accordingly.

ACCESSIBLE SERVICE. For riders who need assistance, this means that in addition to boarding the bus at the specified stops listed on this bus schedule, disabled passengers can request to be picked up or dropped off up to 3/4 of a mile off the bus route. The pickup and drop off loca-tions will be at the curb. Reservations must be made AT LEAST ONE DAY IN ADVANCE. Service is available during the same hours of service as above. Deviated Fixed Route Service fares are the same as the Bus Fares above. Call us at 800-276-6287 for more information and to schedule a ride. If calling on Saturday or Sunday for Deviated Fixed Route Service for Monday, please leave a message on the answering machine.

WHEELCHAIR LIMITATIONS: The Old Dum service wheelchair lifts are rated for no more than 800 pounds total, and cannot accept wheel-chairs that are wider than 30” or longer than 48”. These are vehicle limitations and exceeding them may result in serious injury or death. Questions should be directed to the OATS office at 800-276-6287.

BUS PASSES. Individual tickets are $1.50 each. We offer books of 10 bus passes for $12.50 — a savings of $2.50. Each bus pass is good for one ride for one person. You can purchase books of 10 bus passes from the bus driver (cash or check in the exact amount only). Some charitable agencies may also offer them for no charge to qualified recipients.
