During the holiday, Jews around the world invite family and friends into their sukkot (plural for “sukkah”) to eat, gather, and celebrate the bounty of the season. Today, we invite you to join our Skirball family and share in the celebration of the harvest season. ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

Sukkot (meaning “booths” in Hebrew) is a weeklong Jewish harvest festival—a time of giving thanks for the gif ts of nature and the safety and comfort of home. During the holiday, Jews around the world invite family and friends into their sukkot (plural for “sukkah”) to eat, gather, and celebrate the bounty of the season.
