Triptych Global Arts Workshop (T-GAW) is a leadingEuropean art gallerywith dealerships in theUK and Asia.,situated in the very heart of Kiev’s famous St Andrew’sDescent. As Ukraine’s oldest commercial art gallery,foundedin1988,itremainsitsmostsuccessfulcommercialart space, with an established reputation for highprofessionalismandinnovation.Inthepast28years,T-GAWhasplayedaleadingroleintheculturallifeofthecapital,havingorganizedthousandsofartexhibitions, hosted numerous foreign delegations, andtakenpartinnumerousprojectsincollaborationwithmanyglobalbrands,fromFerrari toForbes.Thegallery isknownto the business community of Ukraine, embassies,internationalorganizations, and is anestablishednameonthe global art map. It is the home of the largest privatecollectionofUkrainianSocialistRealistpaintings.In September 2014, the gallery was rebranded under thedirection of owner and managing director MyroslavaHartmond(Halushka),ResearchAssociateoftheUniversityof Oxford. Her work focuses on soft power & culturaldiplomacy: the branding of states and national cultures inthe international arena. T-GAW frequently hostsinternational artists and speakers, academic lectures andevents, workshops, as well as a range of private andcorporate events.We advise private and corporate clientson art investment, corporate collection building, andcreativemarketing.

MYROSLAVAHARTMOND

Myroslava Hartmond (Halushka) is the owner and Managing Director of Triptych: Global Arts Workshop, and a Research Associate of the Centre for International Studies, University of Oxford. Her practical work in the field of cultural diplomacy is the basis for her research into how states can harness their cultural potential to exert influence in the field of international relations. A qualified expert in cultural diplomacy, Myroslava provides consulting services both in Ukraine and internationally. She currently advises the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. Her family owns one of the most prominent collections of Ukrainian paintings in the world. It includes important works from the Soviet period: Socialist Realist art and Non-Conformist art, as well as artworks of the top contemporary names – including the largest private collection of Ivan Marchuk. She has been working with Ukrainian fine art since 2009 in the UK and Ukraine, and since 2011 in mainland China and Hong Kong. Myroslava holds degrees from the University of Oxford (MPhil International Relations, 2014, thesis on Soviet art exhibitions of the Cold War) and the Institute of International Relations, Kyiv National University (BA(Hons) International Law, 2012, thesis on art restitution among USSR successor states).

Socialist Realism, or Sotsrealizm (1932 – 1989), as an artisticmovement is a unique phenomenon in art history. Its strikingmonumental canvases depict the vast and varied landscapes of theformer Soviet Union, the lives of its hardworking people, as well asscenesfromimportanthistoricalevents.Indeed,SocialistRealismhasbeentherisingstaroftheglobalartmarketinrecentyears.Itmakesfor a particularly attractive investment for private and corporateclients,andformsthebasisofmuseumcollections.
