FROM THE SERRA CLUB OF

NORTH CENTRAL NORTH DA-

KOTA: Prayer is a moving force in voca-

tion development. Prayer is effec-

tive; prayer is powerful; prayer is

essential. Few are called to priest-

hood or religious life, but all are

called to pray for vocations. “Lord,

your church is in need. Touch the

hearts of many within our parish

with the desire to serve you. Call

forth from this community sisters,

brothers, deacons, priests and lay

leaders. Help us to live lives that

will nurture childhood trust into

adult commitment. May this par-

ish be a source of hope and a

source of ministers for your

church, your people and your

world.

REMEMBER TO USE SCRIP: Use Scrip gift cards to pay for your

purchases or to give as gifts.

There’s a large selection of local

businesses who participate in the

Scrip program, along with many na-

tionwide. (There’s a national list on

our website www.bishopryan.com)

Support these business with your

shopping & paying with gift cards and

they in turn, support Bishop Ryan &

families with the rebates earned off

of the cards. Using gift cards in-

stead of credit cards protects you

from credit card fraud. Scrip

doesn’t cost any extra money, you get to spend the dollar amount you

pay for. Using Scrip helps children

receive a Catholic education. Scrip

gift cards are available at Bishop

Ryan, after the weekend Masses.
