• The classes take 50 minutes. After each class, the students have a break for 10 minutes, and a lunch break which takes 20 minutes.

• Every school year has 2 semesters. After each of them, the students from the fifth grade to seventh grade have 2 exams, at mathematics and Romanian language.

• The students in the eighth grade have more than 2 exams. They give them to enter a high school.

• Besides the exams, we take grades from test papers or the teachers assess orally

• The kids from the first class to fourth class have an extra holiday from 5th to 12th of November. In this time bigger classes go to school.

• All the students have a three weeks winter holiday, followed by a spring holiday in April, holiday which lasts one week.

• After these we have a special week when we have special activities than usual and we go on trips.
