•  Held twice a year, usually January and July. •  Three day meeting

•  2 days of plenary sessions + 1/2 day of tutorials and BoFs •  mostly focus on technical and operational discussions •  Internet live streaming & video archive (1 month after meeting) available

•  No registration fee for meeting •  Presentations and discussions are in Japanese

•  English acceptable but rough translation is recommended •  around 10 non-native attendees per meeting
