We continually prayed for direction and wisdom during this process, this was God’s choice to make. Greg has a genuine heart for the Lord. We are going to be blessed by his and his family’s presence.

God has, without a doubt, given us a shepherd to lead our family of believers. It has been an amazing time to watch the Holy Spirit work. This was a wonderful committee, and we are so blessed to have the Breedlove family.

Greg has unmistakably been led to us by the Holy Spirit. His excitement for God’s people and reaching a lost community has been evident from our first visit with him. I know he and Amy, along with their children, will be a great blessing to our church and San Angelo.

In the process, vision is difficult and prayer for discernment is essential. But now, looking back over the whole search process, I can see how the Holy Spirit was nudging the committee toward Greg Breedlove as our pastor, and the Holy Spirit has confirmed this selection in multiple ways.

What impressed me about Greg is his desire to serve his congregation through building relationships and also for his heart for missions. THE BREEDLOVE FAMILYTHE BREEDLOVE FAMILY

Amy grew up in Brownfield, Texas and attended Texas Tech University where she earned her degree in Social Work. She worked as a hospice social worker for several years until she and Greg began growing their family. Christopher, Ellie, Jackson and Katie were placed into Greg and Amy’s hearts and lives and are native Californians, but Greg and Amy got them to Texas as soon as they could!

Amy is an avid reader and has passed on this passion to her four children. She loves cooking, adores her three Great Danes, driving her vintage Beetle Bug, and hanging out with Greg.

God has used Amy in a variety of ministries over the past 11 years, but her most recent ministry role has been to disciple women of many ages. Amy is passionate about missions, discipleship, troubled teen girls, and having people in her home.

Amy is truly excited to come to FBC San Angelo! She is looking forward to creating new friendships, joining in the work God is already doing, and seeing where God desires to use her for His Kingdom growth.

Christopher (14) has many diverse interests. He loves fishing, showing pigs competitively, coding computers, running cross country and playing basketball. Christopher has a playful personality and is always laughing and joking around.

Ellie (12) is a young lady of many interests. She loves showing steer competitively and learning how to do new craft projects. Ellie is a hard worker, has a tender heart and is incredibly thoughtful.

Jackson (10) is a man on a mission! He is quite serious and is always thinking about the next time he will be riding his bike, jumping on the trampoline, playing Roblox on the computer, or drawing his next comic strip.

Katie (8) loves all things girl! Pink, makeup, rainbows and unicorns! She is incredibly creative and enjoys reading, crafting, and drawing. Katie is a great helper and loves trying new things.

FROM THE PASTOR SEARCH COMMITTEEFROM THE PASTOR SEARCH COMMITTEE

We could not be more excited to announce that we have called Greg Breedlove to serve as the pastor of First Baptist Church San Angelo. Surveys completed by the congregation early in the search process helped us complete a pastor profile which was made available as we posted the position. Greg matches that survey as well as anyone can. We wholeheartedly believe that God led us to Greg, and Greg believes the Lord led him to us. What a wonderful example of the Lord’s leadership and direction, as only He can provide, to get both parties to the point where we are now.

We invite you to look over this brochure and get to know Greg and his family on paper, then come meet them in person and hear Greg preach. We think you will be as excited about him and his ministry as we are. God is not through with FBC San Angelo - join us as we make great things happen for the kingdom, in our neighborhoods, in San Angelo and around the world!
