The Entertainment Sports Programming Network, usually referred to by its acronym ESPN, is an American cable television network focusing on sports-related programming.

Founded by Bill Rasmussen, his son Scott Rasmussen and Getty Oil executive Stuart Evey, it launched on September 7, 1979, under the direction of Chet Simmons, the network's President and CEO (and later the

United States Football League's first commissioner). Getty Oil Company provided the funding to begin the new venture. Geoff Bray of New Britain, CT was chosen as the architect. George Bodenheimer is ESPN's current president, a position he has held since November 19, 1998. Bodenheimer has also headed ABC Sports, a

separate legal entity now branded as ESPN on ABC, since March 3, 2003.

Primarily in the 18-34 and 18-49 age groups. Recently, ESPN has been growing considerably faster than its sister network among all viewers, including young men.

However research show when people discover the love for sport, you don’t ever out grow it.

My InspirationMy Inspiration

I am inspired by complex, but precise images because I love change and

diverseness. Because it brings a new refreshing look to everything.

My Primary IdeaMy Primary IdeaI want the new images to actually have a moving images, because I believe for ESPN to progress forward, we need to wave goodbye to the standard 2-D format.

My idea in-corporate’s 4 seconds intervials of different popular sports from audience response.

These involve sports such; NFL, Soccer, Basketball, Tennis, Rugby.

The main animation contribution is the actually 3D cube spin transition. From a test subject the response was “ the cube is something that never used probably, i think it brilliant the way its in-corporate and it works wonderfully.”
