According to the LA Times, the abortionist s assistant said in the deposition that she urgedHalil to stop. She claims she screamed, "My God, stop," as the woman screamed repeatedly,

but he continued.

Abortion stopped because of pain

Florida abortionist, Raymond F. Hudanich, was cited by the state s medical board following abotched abortion he performed on a woman.

The St. Petersburg Times reported, (State Board of Medicine punishes several doctors:10/1/1994 ) that Hudanich first treated the woman at a Fort Lauderdale abortion clinicbut stopped the abortion because the patient complained of pain. The article does not statewhich abortion clinic Hudanich was working in.

In the past, Hudanich worked with the OBGYN group: Hudanich, Rinella, andGreensberg which offered abortion services in Plantation.

The St. Petersburg Times report stated that Hudanich ruptured the woman s uterus and failedto recognize it. According to the report, he left the woman with two holes in her uterus andremoved her appendix and some other tissue. He failed to remove the fetus and finish theabortion. According to the article, some members of the board were reported to haverequested that Hudanich be banned from performing abortions and gynecological surgery untilhe again proves his competence.

On April 13, 1999, the Palm Beach Post exposed how patients checking on doctors throughthe Florida Department of Health's website were not receiving the correct information.

As one example the Post's article, State's website lacks key information on doctors, revealedthat the web site showed Dr. Raymond Hudanich of Plantation as having a ''clear'' licensestatus and no history of having been disciplined. But, the Post points out, in 1995, the statebanned Hudanich for the rest of his career from performing abortions after the fetus' thirdmonth.

On February 17,2005, the State of Florida Board of Medicine entered a consent order regarding a Letter of Concern filed by the Department of Health (DOH case # 2002-23995)against Hudanich. That Letter listed deficiencies found when health officials inspected theBroward Women's Center located at 333 NW 70th Ave, suite 120 in Plantation whereHudanich performed surgeries.

Inspectors noted that there was a lack of compliance with the level 11 office surgery crash cart,in that there were insufficient amounts of Epinephrine 1:1000 and Isuprel to supply threeoperating rooms, lack of compliance with level 11 office surgery equipment and supplies. Thecase states that at the time of inspection these deficiencies created an imminent danger to thesafety of patients.

Thriving in pain after her abortion

"At first there was no pain. Then a little bleeding started. Then it began. Pain like I have never felt before!  The cramping was unreal. The pain pills that I was prescribed did not even touchthe pain.

I was bleeding all over the place. Every time I went to the bathroom I was so afraid that Iwould see the embryo in the toilet I did not even look. My husband did not know what to do Iwas wailing and thriving in pain. The pain was not just physical either."

I remember seeing lots of blood after abortion

"I went to the clinic on the 16th of August in 2000, they told me that I was only 8 weeks andthat I wouldn't have to have the surgical operation, so I had the abortion pill instead. The painin my stomach was immense, I remember so clearly sitting in the hospital room waiting for my baby to fall out of me! By this time I really needed to go to the toilet, the nurse put a panover the toilet just in case my baby fell out when I was going a wee.

I remember seeing lots of blood thinking that it was all over!

So I went back to my room and sat down upon the bed, my stomach was hurting so much. Thenurse came into my room and told me to have a walk about, because the baby still hadn tcome out. I was in tears surely there couldn t be anymore I was thinking to myself. So I got upand had a walk around when I felt a pain in my stomach, so I quickly went to the toilet, I satdown with the pan beneath me, then there below me I saw what would have been my baby,

I can't explain the hurt and pain and how much I cried, but to see your unborn baby lying in apan beneath you really is the worst possible thing in the world!!!!!"

The pain was unspeakable after the abortion

"The pain was unspeakable, both physically and emotionally. The machine was loud and the

suction made the most gruesome sound that I will never forget. I would rather listen to thesound of a dentist's drill in my ear for eternity than to hear that sound ever again for even amoment; the gruesome sound of a baby being sucked from its' mother's womb."

The abortion pain was so bad that it woke me up

On the November 27, 1996 Geraldo Rivera Show entitled, Exposing phony physicians: Patient  protect thyself; three women discuss the horrible disfigurement , abortion patient, Lisa, gavethis testimony of her abortion:

"So next thing you know I was out and--from the anesthesia, and during that time is the timethat was fatal. They--that's--that's when they punctured my uterus and they lacerated myintestine on the table while I was there. And when--that hurt so bad. The pain was so bad thatit woke me up.

It woke me up out of anesthesia. I was--my back was arched on the table and she wasslapping me to tell me--you know, It's OK. Breathe. Breathe,' you know, and so I--I could seethem.

I was in a daze and I could see them looking inside me and telling me--saying to themselves,We're going to have to do something, go back in and nah, nah, nah, nah, nah.' You know, itwas just so crazy. It was dazed and confused. But luckily, I got up off the table and I said, No,you're not going to.' I told them, No, I'm leaving.' I got up. I put my clothes on and I was notbleeding yet because I was bleeding internally. And I got up and I left out of there. I passed outon the way home. And when I got home, I didn't know what to do. I was so messed up from the

anesthesia.

Who knows how much they gave me in the first place--if it was a correct dosage or not?"
