Here you can see the female character more than the male character and that the male character is cut off. This is to show the audience you will be seeing more of the female character than the male. Also we notice the female character isnt wearing a workplace costume or a flashy costume but a normal costume which makes the female audience relate even more because it shows the main female is as normal as anyone.

Here you can see that the female character is carrying baby shoes targets the audience of pregnant women at the same time couples who are thinking about children. This way the target will expand to group other than females.

Here you can see there are different colors in this poster but pink and black are common. This is because pink in a color liked commonly among women and black is the same but with men. However you can see more pink highlighted words than black to show that the company is targeting women more than men. Also bright colors such as pink and red has representation of love which is perfect for the sub-genre. Also you can see that the background is white which is basic meaning the characters life's similar. This can make the audience relate, this way the more people will understand the film.

As you can the name “Jennifer Lopez”. This is shown because the film company understand “Jennifer Lopes” is famous and want to reach her fan base to expand the target audience. This is a smart and efficient way to gain more fans.

Also underneath the famous name you can see that there is step by step such “fall in love”. This is put in the poster to let the audience get a hint of the narrative at the same grab the attention of those who haven't fell in love and people who have. It also says “get married” after “fall in love” this is because it could get the attention of married couples are those close to. Also at each step you can see lines point from the top step to the bottom ones which are the final once, by this the audience think there's going to be a big wedding and by this more viewers will come.

Also what you can see is that that the title it put upwards which could there relationship is going upwards(good). However you can see a gap between the title and each character which means either there separate from a relationship which is why the title looks like a wall.

Comparison

Here you can see the rom-com and the action –adventure film and notice the color change. The rom-com has more feminine color to appeal to feminine whilst ironman has colors attractive to males. As well as the background in the rom-com being simple whilst the action film as first, second, third, fourth and fifth layer of pictures in the background. however in both picture you will see there is a man a women either facing each other or touching each other, this is effective because no matter what genre you in to you can still target couples to watch you film

War filmsHere you can see firstly the colors are less exciting and cheerful, however they are still fit the poster perfectly because depressing like a war zone which fits this perfectly. Also you can notice colors like brown and black through out the poster, this is because there dark colors which represents the fact you know what will soon happened but not really no much. You notice explosion and burning places, this gets the attention of those who love the action and those who love these sorts of movie but then put off peoples opinions on these topics. You also see a soldier in the frontline which looks confusing because the audience don’t know if he needs help. This way they’ll want to watch the movie to see why. There a huge gap between his partner and him which is not meant to be which shows that characters already lonely. This alone targets lonely people in the frontline.
