Ais for Angel.

Angels are made from laughter.

They are especially kind and really

good at flying. Although angels are

everywhere, they are impossible to see.

Page 5: ABC
Page 6: ABC

Bis for Bear.

Bears live in the woods and like to

have tea parties very late at night.

Their favourite thing to eat is

raspberry jam.

Page 7: ABC
Page 8: ABC

Cis for Clown.

Clowns live in the circus and are

nearly always laughing or falling over.

Clowns only eat popcorn and are

never ever grumpy.

Page 9: ABC
Page 10: ABC

Dis for Dragon.

Dragons are very shy and live

in caves. Despite popular opinion,

dragons are very polite, but are best

avoided on account of having rather

smelly breath.

Page 11: ABC
Page 12: ABC

Eis for Elephant.

Although very large, elephants are a

bit cowardly and nothing scares them

quite as much as the mouse, which is

not very big at all. When approaching

an elephant, try not to squeak.

Page 13: ABC
Page 14: ABC

Fis for Fairy.

Fairies are very, very small, and have

very squeaky voices. If you ever spot a

fairy, and are lucky enough to tickle

its nose, it will grant you a wish.

Page 15: ABC
Page 16: ABC

Gis for Giant.

Giants are easy to spot because they

are huge and hairy. Never get too

close to a giant because their hugs

are quite dangerous.

Page 17: ABC
Page 18: ABC

His for Honey.

Honey is very sweet, and is made by

bees, which are not. Never try to eat

a bee; always go for the honey.

Page 19: ABC
Page 20: ABC

Iis for Igloo.

Igloos are made of snow and ice.

Although the people who live in igloos are

usually very cold, they are always jolly

and eat lots of ice cream.

Page 21: ABC
Page 22: ABC

Jis for Jelly.

Jelly is the most fun food to eat, on

account of it being very wobbly.

Never go to a birthday party unless you

know that it has a good supply of jelly.

Page 23: ABC
Page 24: ABC

Kis for Kite.

Nothing is more fun than flying a kite

on a bright sunny day. Be careful,

however, in high winds, not to be

blown away.

Page 25: ABC
Page 26: ABC

Lis for Leprechaun.

Leprechauns come from Ireland. They dance

all day long and are always in a good mood.

This is probably because they all have large

pots of gold, which they might just share

with you, if you manage to catch one.

Page 27: ABC
Page 28: ABC

Mis for Mermaid.

Mermaids live in the sea and have

beautiful tails. Mermaids love to sing

opera and never eat fish.

Page 29: ABC
Page 30: ABC

Nis for Nurse.

Nurses are very kind and gentle and

help to make you feel better with

medicine and lollipops.

Page 31: ABC
Page 32: ABC

Ois for Octopus.

The octopus likes two things, tickling

and swimming. Because they have eight

arms, they are rather good at both.

Page 33: ABC
Page 34: ABC

Pis for Parrot.

Parrots come in all shapes and

colours, and live in rainforests. It is

very hard sleeping near a parrot,

because they never stop talking.

Page 35: ABC
Page 36: ABC

Qis for Queen.

Queens are married to kings and tend

to be very bossy. Most queens eat too

much chocolate and have lots of shoes.

Page 37: ABC
Page 38: ABC

Ris for Robot.

Robots are mostly made from old

toasters and broken washing machines.

Despite being entirely metal, they have

huge hearts and love doing housework.

Page 39: ABC
Page 40: ABC

Sis for Spaceship.

Spaceships are very quick, except when they

run out of petrol; at this point they do not

move at all. Try and bring a picnic when

travelling through space, as it can take a long

time to get home.

Page 41: ABC
Page 42: ABC

Tis for Train.

Trains move along tracks made out of

liquorice and chocolate.

They won’t leave the station if it is

too hot, too cold, or too leafy.

Page 43: ABC
Page 44: ABC

Uis for Unicorn.

Unicorns are made from stars. Never

try to ride a unicorn or touch its

horn, as this is considered quite rude.

Page 45: ABC
Page 46: ABC

Vis for Vampire.

Vampires are very pale because they

don’t eat their greens. They come out

late at night and drink hot chocolate,

through little holes in their teeth.

Page 47: ABC
Page 48: ABC

Wis for Witch.

Witches have terrible eyesight and

spend all of their time flying on

brooms. Because of this, their kitchen

floors tend to be rather messy.

Page 49: ABC
Page 50: ABC

Xmarks the spot …

… where pirates bury their treasure.

Pirate treasure is made up of

chocolate biscuits, sweets and gold.

NEVER take a pirate’s treasure as it

makes them rather sad.

Page 51: ABC
Page 52: ABC

Yis for Yellow.

Yellow is the colour of the sun, which

only comes out during the day.

Although very warm, the sun can be

quite shy and occasionally hides

behind clouds.

Page 53: ABC
Page 54: ABC

Zis for Zoo.

Zoos are filled with animals who like

to watch people. Never ever try to

stroke a crocodile at a zoo – they

prefer to be tickled.
