In Memory Of Aaron Jacob Goddard February 8, 1984 ~ May 9, 2010 Aaron Jacob Goddard was born February 8, 1984 to Jeff and Jeanne (Hartz) Goddard in Watford City, North Dakota. He was raised and educated in rural Watford City, first home schooled and then graduated from Watford City High School in 2002. His interests in school were academics and he ex- celled in math, and advanced studies in ge- ometry. He was a deep and philosophic thinker and loved to write prose and po- etry. He was raised in the Christian faith, was born again at a young age, and was baptized at Spring Lake Park in Williston. Every summer from age 13 to 18, he attended Child Evangelism Fellowship training in east- ern North Dakota. This prepared him to hold backyard Bible Clubs each summer locally. After graduation, Aaron attended West Coast Baptist College in Lancaster, California studying theology until 2005. Aaron earned his commercial driver’s license in Denver, Colorado. He drove truck for Halliburton, Sanjel and also drove huge haul trucks for Freeport/McMoran copper mine in Arizona. He recently returned to North Dakota and was last employed by American Casing in Williston. Aaron was a friend to everyone he met and had a very gentle and kind nature. He had a love of all animals, especially his pets. He enjoyed exploring, off-roading, and the great outdoors off of the normal tourist paths. Aaron is survived by his parents, Jeff and Jeanne Goddard of Pie Town, NM; brother, Jeremy (Christy) Goddard of Lead, SD; sister, Laura (Marcos) Reyes of Las Vegas, NV; grandparents, Jessie Goddard of Mesa, AZ and Calvin and Bess Hartz of Whiting, NJ. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Cephas Goddard, whom he admired and spent a lot of quality time with when he was younger.

Aaron Jacob Goddard

Aaron Jacob Goddard was born February 8,

1984 to Jeff and Jeanne (Hartz) Goddard

in Watford City, North Dakota. He was raised

and educated in rural Watford City, first home

schooled and then graduated

from Watford City High School in 2002. His

interests in school were academics and he ex-

celled in math, and advanced studies in ge-
