−Architecture for blindness based on study of Scandinavian Architecture-
「自ら環境に繰り返し働きかけることによって得られる反応から、必要な情報だけを抽出する認識方法」アフォーダンスを提唱したジェームズ・ギブソンの言葉を借りるなら、環境の中には人間が持つ能力で知覚し得
る資質が埋め込まれている。誰もが本来的に共有可能な五感体験を動員することで建築を社会へと開いていった文化圏として北欧が挙げられる。デンマークの建築家、ラスムッセンの著書『経験としての建築』
( 1 9 5 7 ) ( f i g . 1 ) では、五感を動員した北欧建築の体験の豊かさが記されている。 ( f i g . 2 ) こうした「図面にあらわれない豊かさ」を「視覚以外の五感で認知されうる経験としての豊かさ」であると仮定した時、それ
は目の不自由な祖父の認知にも作用し得る豊かさなのではないだろうか。本提案は実際に北欧建築を実測し、体験を記述することからはじまった。リサーチを背景に目の不自由な祖父のための2つの建築を提案する。

The site is enclosed various environment such as sea and road and forest. These different environments are coexists together.Also the location is center of the town and faces port where is the most reasonable way he could come center of town. Because he usually drive his car when he go out. Therefore the site is most accessible his own life and has possibility to use a lot of people who lie in the town. About design part it is necessary to consider about not only him but also the other visitor. Program is library and community center as alternative way of existing typical library around there.
