The Orthopaedic PAC
The Political Action Committee of the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons, or “The Orthopaedic PAC” is the only national political action committee in Washington, D.C., representing orthopaedic surgeons before Congress.
The Orthopaedic PAC was formed in 1999 to help advance the legislative agenda of the AAOS and subspecialty orthopaedic groups.
Today, it is among the top fundraising PACs of all the specialty physician political action committees in the United States.
The Orthopaedic PAC is the foundation of the AAOS advocacy effort and continued participation is necessary to ensure that orthopaedic surgeons can effectively advocate legislative issues to Congress.
