Sanjay Gupta, COO, STAR India said, “Enter-tainment when done with a sense of purpose, can be a very powerful tool – one that can break the cynicism and bring about happiness. As a net-work, we have always strived to inspire a billion imaginations while working towards giving our audience something new and exciting. And with Aaj Ki Raat Hai Zindagi, we are happy to collab-orate again with Mr. Amitabh Bachchan on a proj-ect which is so special. Off late, an overexposure of negative news has impacted our perspective to-wards life, so the show is an attempt to bring back a sense of optimism.”

sung by Jubin Nautiyal. The lyr-
ics by Sanjay Gupta with Amjad-
Nadeem are a well-written mix of
depth and contemporary phonet-
ics and thoughts. The composition
is mellow and lifted by the singer,
besides being arranged with
moody orchestration.
The female version is orches-
trated slightly differently. It is paced
and sung well by Asees Kaur.
