“Music has been my passion for my entire professional career. Choosing to become an artist I have endured the high and lows of a blessed, and at times, tortuous life. A lifetime of nearly 40 years in show business has taken me around Australia and throughout the world, playing a big part of my musical growth by enabling me to become the singer I am to-day. This would not have been possible had it not been for the support in working with some of the most talented, musicians, artists, and performers in the world. The bond that I have with these remarkable people with stay with me for the rest of my life. As artists we all share a common interest and that is to bring joy into the lives of those who give us their time to come and watch us do what we love to do the most, and that is to play music.

My thanks then go to all these wonderful musicians, artists, and performers that have all been a part of my shows past, present, and future. All of whom have supported me to keep the vision of creative self expression alive. This vision which has now become and developed into “Blues on the Rocks” “The Ultimate Blues Rock Event” now in its 7th year of production and is officially Australia’s No.1 blues rock show. To name all the artists that have been a part of the success of “Blues on the Rocks” The Ultimate Blues Rock Event would take far too much time as there have been so many. Kevin Borich Regarded as amongest Australia’s finest blues rock guitarists Kevin’s recent induction into “The Australian Blues Foundation Hall of Fame” has consolidated Kevin Borich and his music as an institution in Australian blues rock music. With a career spanning over 30 years in the music industry Kevin has done it all and then some. Originally from New Zealand Kevin’s first taste of success was with the incredible “La-De- Da’s” when he recorded their first smash hit song “Gonna See My Baby To-night”. From that moment on Kevin’s career has gone from strength to strength. Performing with such artists as “Fleetwood Mac”, “Elton John”, “Santana”, “Buddy Guy”, “Status Quo”, “Ron Wood” (from the Rolling Stones) including Aussie Icons such as “Renee’ Gayer”, “Dutch Tilders”, and many more to numerous to mention to performing to an audience of 60,000 at the legendary Sunbury Festival.

Phil EmmanuelInternational recording artist and guitar legend, the elder brother of Tommy Emmanuel. Phil Emmanuel’s incredible guitar chops and his ability to create sounds never thought possible from electric guitar has been an inspiration to all around the world who have seen and heard this remarkable blues rock performer. Phil can lay claim to performing to over 3 billion people from around the world when he opened the Sydney Olympics in Australia in the year 2000. Phil Emmanuel is a legendary creator of guitar sounds, and considered by all as a musical genius of the electric guitar.

James T.Originally from Cincinnati Ohio in northern Kentucky USA, Jame’s rise to prominence became established as a long standing member of the international recording band “Canned Heat”. With classic hits such as “Going up The Country” “Canned Heat” became a major force on the international blues recording scene. Now with his feet permanently planted on Australian soil James T. performances as a singer songwriter recognized for his unmistakable guitar sounds and lazy vocals, have proven once again why James T. is one of the most respected, blues artists in the world.

Doc SpanAlso originally from USA. Doc has now made Australia his home and in doing so has established himself as a international recording blues performer headlining major blues festivals throughout Australia. Not only has Doc consolidated his talent within the blues genre but he has also gained a reputation as a master of the blues harp (Harmonica). When combined with his smokey vocals this extraordinary blues harp player is in a league of his own. Doc Span is an original, and when you hear him blow the harp you can appreciate why Doc is considered amongst the best blues harp players in the world to-day.

Hat Fitz & ItchyThe bush ranger of Aussie Blues, Mountain Man Blues, Bushman Blues. Call him what you like, but there is no mistaken that Hat Fitz (“Fitzy” as he is known by his peers) is without a doubt one of the most dynamic and original blues recording artists in the world. An international recording artist, Hat Fitz accompanied by “Itchy” his drummer of many years combines the extraordinary sound of his Dobro guitar, with the drum patterns and steel fingered washboard sounds from Itchy, to produce blues music that is original and unlike any thing ever heard before in blues music. Growling vocals add to the unique presentation of this remarkable charismatic blues artist who has taken blues music to another level. Hat Fitz and his music are being tipped as the new international blues sensation.
