You can also use facebook, survey monkey, e-mail, photoshop, premiere, after effects, flash…

It is imperative for you to not only make your blog as digitally engaging as possible but for you to also reflect on your use of technology in the pre-production, production and post-production stages.

Consider the impact that the skills you have developed have had on your work. E.g.: what specific skills have you learned in Adobe Premiere Pro? How have they developed and improved? What did this ad to your production?

Or how did your use of ‘Facebook’ or ‘Survey Monkey’ help you to conduct primary research?

Self-management

It is also important that you show evidence of effective self-management. This is particularly important this year due to the fact that you are all working independently.

Here are some ideas to help you be a better self-manager and more reflective learner:

• Keep a diary• Keep a digital shooting schedule – update it as your project progresses, setting regular targets• Blog regularly and always include reflective and evaluative comments• Use video / audio blogging as a quick and effective way of getting your thoughts, ideas and evaluative comments on to your blog• Ask your peers / teacher to regularly look at your work – record their comments asking them to be critical – this will help improve your work significantly!
